This turbo boost pressure tester allows turbocharger boost pressure to be monitored under load while driving, helping to identify faults within the turbocharging system. By measuring boost pressure during real operating conditions, issues relating to the turbocharger, boost control system, air leaks, or pressure regulation can be diagnosed more effectively.
The test can be carried out via the MAP sensor located behind the throttle valve in the intake manifold or by using a piercing aid in the turbo hose before the throttle valve. The analogue gauge provides a direct pressure reading and features an NW5 connector for easy connection.
