BROKEN GLOW PLUG CENTRE ELECTRODE DRILL & GUIDE TUBE SET
This set is engineered for the controlled removal of broken glow plug centre electrodes, particularly when the top nut has sheared and left the electrode flush with the housing—preventing conventional drilling or extraction. The guide tube system allows the electrode to be drilled safely and to the correct depth without removing the cylinder head.
A selection of drill guide sleeves is provided, each inserted into the glow plug bore to centre and stabilise the bit around the remaining electrode. This setup prevents bit deflection or breakage during drilling, which is a common risk when working without a guide.
Compatible with most common glow plug sizes: M8x1, M9x1, M10x1, and M10x1.25.
