Special tap set designed for cleaning and recutting damaged glow plug mounting threads directly in the cylinder head. Each tap incorporates a smooth pilot section that locates in the glow plug bore and guides the cutting section into perfect alignment with the existing thread, ensuring a straight and true cut even in-situ.
Tap sizes supplied: M8x1, M9x1, M10x1, and M10x1.25.
A long extension tap holder (Part No. 6041637) is available separately for use in confined engine bays.
