MERCEDES OM642 GLOW PLUG REMOVAL SET M8X1

This drill out glow plug kit is designed specifically for the Mercedes OM642 engine, where the angle and access to the glow plugs make accurate drilling difficult once a glow plug has snapped. The supplied mounting bracket bolts directly to the engine and guides the drilling process at the correct angle, allowing controlled removal of broken glow plugs without damaging the cylinder head. The kit includes electrode drilling tubes and drills for situations where the electrode has not broken off deep inside the glow plug, as well as thread repair inserts to restore damaged M8x1 glow plug threads if required.
