SHOCK ABSORBER PISTON CLAMPING SET 13 PIECE SET

The clamping tool for shock absorbers is designed for securing the piston rod in position when changing the spring. It can also be used to clamp the piston in its fully extended position, reducing the amount of compression required when installing a new spring to fit the top plate and nut back into place. This prevents the piston rod from turning or retracting, allowing safe removal of the top nut and bearings. The included gauges help determine the correct piston rod diameter, after which the two half-moon clamps are bolted together to provide a secure, non-marking grip. The set is suitable for use with all spring compressors and ensures controlled and efficient work on shock absorbers.
